Non-fiction book fair-2022 to begin on December 26

A three-day-long nonfiction book fair organized by the joint venture of Business Studies Faculty of DU and Bonik Barta is going to be started on 26th December for sixth time on the Dhaka University (DU) campus.
The fair will start at 10 am on December 26 and will conclude on December 28 on the premises of Business Faculty of Dhaka University. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md Akhtaruzzaman will inaugurate the fair.
The fair will be open for the visitors from 10 am to 8 pm on those days. Book lovers also can buy books at maximum 30 percent commission rate.
A total of 39 publications and research agencies will take part in the book fair.
“Fictional books have many readers as those books have an attachment with the emotional but for being rigid and hard nonfictional books couldn’t catch more readers. We, every year, arrange this nonfiction book fair to promote nonfiction books since 2015,” Prof. Mohammad Abdul Moyeen, Deans of Business Faculty, said.
Fair arrangement committee has decided to introduce ‘Nonfiction Book of Year Award’ for first time ever. A Jury board has been formed to choose the best nonfiction book from the fair.
Besides book selling, there will be arrangements for photo contest and raffle draw.
