Two arrested with truck, aluminum wires

Huge quantites of stolen aluminum wires of REB (Rural Electrification Board) were recovered from a Bhangari shop (shop of old, broken and unused materials) of village Rajyer, near BRAC office within Khontakata Union under Sharankhola Upazila in Bagerhat district in the evening of Saturday. At that time police arrested two thieves and seized a truck loaded with the stolen eletric wires. Arrested thieves are Nizam Akon (38), son of one Faruq Akon of village Rajayer under Sharankhola Upazila and Rubel Mia (28), son of one Motiar Rahman of village Dakkhin Shialkathi under Bhandaria Upazila in Pirojpur district. The Bhangari shop belongs to one Faruq Akon. The arrested thieves and seized Truck and stolen electric aluminum wires where handed over to Sharankhola PS on Monday morning, according to a delayed report received here.
