Bangladesh is placed on the world map on this day December of life; Bangladesh of life…
Mir Abdul Alim :
16 December 1971. On this day, independent Bangladesh was placed on twenty maps. Since then every year December comes with the memory of our war victory. December is the season of our fullness, the victory of the freedom-seeking people of Bangladesh fills that fullness to the brim. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, gave this joy and this independent golden Bengal to Bengalis.
People united in one spirit, not a crowd, only one leader of the nation, he is the one who made this country independent. At his call, the people of the country were swept away in the war of independence. In exchange of the honor of many mothers and sisters, this Bangladesh was lost in a lot of bloodshed. Bangabandhu brought victory to this country with his personality becoming more intense after a long period of persecution.
Bangabandhu, the architect of Bangladesh, was steel-strong in his determination, clear in his extremely confident speech, under his leadership, the entire Bengali nation woke up that day. Bengalis have never seen such a leader before, Bengalis have never created such unity, they have never seen such a dream. Bangali raised a thunderous voice in unison, Bangali, your address is mine, Padma-Meghna-Yamuna, one leader, one country, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh. In exchange for the blood of thousands of freedom fighters, a new sun called Bangladesh has risen by making the whole world stand up.
On this day in 1971, after 9 months of fighting, the invading forces formally surrendered at Suhrawardy Udyan. Since then December is our month of victory. On the 16th of this month in 1971, the independent homeland of Bengalis, Bangladesh, was placed on the world map. And its architect is the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangabandhu loved his country, his Bengal, Bangladesh more than life itself.
Before and after independence Bangabandhu had only Bangladesh in his mind. Because of this, he endured prison-tyranny, torture-torture all his life. Even the gallows could never move him a hair from his goal. Bangladesh got independence on 16 December 1971 after 9 months of continuous struggle. Bangabandhu returned to independent Bangladesh on January 10, 1972 as a victor. He returned to his beloved people. He gave himself to the work of building the country. The people’s struggle for economic emancipation began. That is another struggle. People of the country struggle for other, clothes, housing.
Undoubtedly, Bangabandhu’s objective was to develop his country and its people. Until the last moment, Bangabandhu wanted to build a golden Bengal, the image of a golden Bengal he got from the poet Rabindranath Tagore, Bangabandhu lovingly chose the dream of a golden Bengal as the national anthem of his country.Today Sheikh Mujib’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is determined to build the dream of Sonar Bangla. Who has already brought Bangladesh from the status of a less developed country to the status of a developing country.
We are truly an ungrateful nation. The one who gave a gift to our motherland, how brutally he was killed. A flood of blood was poured into the residence of the father of the nation that day. Baby Russell’s cry and longing did not touch their hearts. Not only that, the killers guarded his grave for three months. No one was allowed to come there. Even the pictures of Bangabandhu’s assassination were banned in this country for a long time. Not allowing to see the grave of Bangabandhu, the main reason behind the ban on the publication of pictures of his murder was that the military rulers were afraid of it. Their fear was that they knew for sure that the dead Bangabandhu was much stronger than the living Bangabandhu. They also knew that if these pictures were published at that time, Bengalis could not be held accountable for anything.
Because of this bond of sincerity with the people of Bangladesh, his motivation was active in the liberation war despite being imprisoned in the enemy country. As everyone was determined to gain independence, there was a strong desire to build an independent and sovereign Bangladesh under his leadership. After returning home after being freed from captivity, he said that if the countrymen do not get food, the youth do not get jobs or work, then freedom will fail, it will not be fulfilled. This was part of his dream. Before realizing that dream, his family was removed from the world.
Bangabandhu is gone but never erased from the sky of memory. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was not only one of the few short-lived and truly human-loving political personalities who played an active and successful role and outstanding contribution in the field of national politics in various countries, especially in the middle of the twentieth century in the Asian continent, perhaps his position was among them all. at the top It can be said without hesitation that such a political personality like him is rare in the history of the thousand years of the Bengali nation. That is why he is called the best Bengali of a thousand years.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman searched for his homeland all his life. The pro-poor Bangabandhu therefore looked first at the farmers in independent Bangladesh; Poe contributed to the Industrial Revolution. From the beginning to the end of Bangabandhu’s political career, the issue of protecting the interests of hardworking people including farmers and laborers has been of utmost importance. Bangabandhu was fearless in fulfilling his promise to bring smiles to the faces of the poor and suffering people. A five-year plan was adopted in the administration of the state. The plan lays special emphasis on land management, industrial development, incentives for small entrepreneurs, cooperative agriculture management and quality modern education system etc. What will be the role of the government to meet basic needs? World class skilled human resources can be developed in different ways.
All these action plans were Bangabandhu’s economic ideas. The Five Year Plan was about how to economically rebuild the war-torn country. The main objective of the plan was to formulate a realistic development plan for the very low income and deprived people in all areas.
Bangabandhu believed in his heart that through the successful implementation of the project, the agricultural and industrial revolution of this country as well as the economic liberation of the Bengali nation is possible. The desired success can be achieved only through increasing production, balanced distribution, employment generation and overall development of the village. Bangabandhu’s philosophy of life was to ensure the happiness and prosperity of the common people of this country. Bangabandhu’s political philosophy was economic emancipation of the masses. This philosophy had the dream of bringing a smile to the face of every person of Sonar Bengal. He wanted a radical change in the entire economic-social system, freedom from colonial dependence.
It may not be possible in the short term, but it will create a secure future for sure – this is how Bangabandhu thought. Since then Bangladesh is today.
It is clear that the Bangladesh of Bangabandhu’s dream is moving forward now. At the end, one thing has to be said, the dream of Golden Bengal that Bangabandhu has always shown to the nation has started getting success.
Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the country is now turning from a bottomless basket into a middle-income country. Due to its qualified and efficient leadership and visionary planning, timely steps, Bangladesh is moving forward rapidly as a surprise of the world. The middle-income country is now a role model for development. Returning to the country after being freed from captivity, he said, “If the countrymen do not get food, the youth do not get jobs or work, then freedom will fail, freedom will not be complete”.This was part of his dream. Before realizing that dream, his family was removed from the world.
The people who dreamed after losing Bangabandhu became helpless. He left. He did not come back. Unfortunately, such a leader has not been born in this country. No one has ever loved Bengal like him; No one has held the people of the country like him. O great leader, stay well, stay in heavenly bliss. Many greetings to you.
