Vandalizing of BNP office an act of state terrorism: Gonotontro Mancha

Gonotontro Mancha, a political platform of seven opposition parties, has stated that it considers vandalization of BNP’s Nayapaltan office on last Wednesday a ‘state terrorism’.
They made the comment after visiting the BNP central office at Nayapaltan.
Nagorik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Biplobi Workers Party General Secretary Saiful Haque, Ganosanghati Andolon Chief Coordinator Zonayed Saki, Gono Odhikar Parishad Member Secretary Nurul Haque Nur, Bhasani Onusari Parishad Convener Rafiqul Islam and General Secretary of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) Shahid Uddin Mahmud Shawpan have visited the office.
Mancha leaders have demanded release of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas and other arrested leaders and activists.
Nagorik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna said BNP leaders and activists have shown highest form of patience. They have completed their grand rally with peaceful manner and for that they deserve heartiest thanks.
Manna said the law enforcement agencies behaved like a dacoit. The sculpture of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman has been vandalized. Could you imagine it in a civilized society or country?
He called upon others to come under a joint movement and make a mass movement to out this autocratic government.
Zonayed Saki said the vandalization of BNP party office is an act of ‘state terrorism’. By destroying the sculpture of Ziaur Rahman Awami League is creating a political environment of no tolerance. Actually they are inspiring a civil war like situation.
Nurul Haque Nur said, all parliament members having the spirit of 1971 should resign. Otherwise, we will be addressed all as a part of this fascist government.
