BNP leaders, activists fear attack on the way to home

The leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) apprehend attack on the way to home at the end of the Dhaka divisional grand rally in Golapbagh area in Dhaka City. They say that leaders and activists of Awami League (AL) were on the roads and alleys of Dhaka city from Friday morning.
They brought out small processions and held meetings.
The leaders and workers of Metropolitan North and South have occupied different spots.
After a long effort, finally BNP was able to hold their Dhaka divisional grand rally in Golapbagh paly ground where tens of thousands of leaders and supporters attended.
 Ahamed Ali, a BNP leader from Gopalgonj district attended the yesterday rally.
He came to Dhaka three days earlier to join the meeting.
He said I came to Dhaka to attend the grand rally to accelerate the movement to free our beloved leader Begum Khaleda Zia and bring back democracy in the country.
Ahamed Ali said BNP arranged the mass rally peacefully and our senior leader always advised us to act calmly. One of our single supporters did not express any arrogance in their behavior.
The Awami League leaders and activists are moving hither and thither. We fear attack on the way to home, he added.
 Golam Nabi Alamgir convener of Bhola district unit joined the grand rally and said that they fear AL attack on the way to home.
He said a huge number of activists and leaders have joined from Bhola. We shall return to home by launch from Shadarghat.
A huge number of AL activists waited in the Shadarghat area, he added.
