Forging social resistance against corruption underscored

Forging social movement as well as resistance against corruption can be the crucial means of establishing disparity-free atmospheres everywhere in the society.
Spontaneous participation of the community and the young generation as a whole towards the anti-corruption campaign has also become indispensable for building mass-opinion against the corruption.
Members of the civil society and experts made the observation while addressing a discussion at Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Zila Parishad Auditorium in the city today.
The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) and District and Divisional Administrations jointly organised the discussion to mark the International Anti Corruption Day-2022.
Theme of the day is “Uniting the world against corruption”.
Commissioner of Rajshahi division GSM Zafarullah addressed the meeting as the chief guest while Deputy Inspector General of Police Abdul Baten, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Abu Kalam Siddique and Deputy Commissioner Abdul Jalil spoke as special guests.
ACC Director Kamrul Ahsan, Superintendent of Police Masud Hossain and former chairman of Rajshahi Education Board Professor Dipkendranath Das also addressed the discussion with ACC Deputy Director Nasir Uddin in the chair.
