A worrying decline in child safety

A 5-year-old child named Ayat was brutally murdered in Chittagong recently. All citizens of the country are shocked with the cries of her relatives after her dismembered body was found. We are often witnessing torture and killing of children in the media. This brutal torture and murder of children are making people think about their child safety anew.
A child of this day is a bright commander for tomorrow. They will dominate and take centre stage in the future. But currently, the safety of children is going through a critical situation in our country. Kidnapping, rape and murder of children are constantly happening in our country due to ransom, personal enmity and violence. This premature death is not only a death of future possibilities but also a death of so many dreams, desires and hope of a family. This threat to children is putting the whole nation in fear. Therefore, if we can’t ensure their safety then it will be a big threat to future generations.
There are many children who are suffering from human moral degradation, as did Ayat. Both the state and society have a responsibility in this social trouble. To escape other children from losing their lives like her, the government must take strong action against it. The authority must have to take strong steps to ensure their safety and blooming. At the same time, the laws should also be strengthened and the perpetrators brought to justice quickly and the harshest punishments, in order to prevent such atrocities from taking place again.

Need skill-based education

Bangladesh has not yet relieved from the scourge of unemployment. Although various programmes have been taken at different times to alleviate unemployment, they are not being implemented properly due to lack of resources and skills. If the young generation becomes skilled in technical know-how, then we will be able to transform this large population into human resources.
In order to eliminate unemployment and continue development initiatives in the future, the government should put more emphasis on technology.
