Two arrested for attack on journo at Galachipa

Sohag Rahman, Patuakhali district correspondent of Mohana Television and General Secretary of Galachipa Press Club was seriously injured in the terrorist attack in Galachipa upazila town under Patuakhali district.
The injured journalist is undergoing treatment at Galachipa Hospital. After the incident victim Sohag has filed a case against five accused with Galachipa police station. Then police arrested two of accused attackers named Maruf (37) and Akid (28) at night.
After filing a case in this connection , Galachipa police arrested two accused and sent to Patuakhali jail after producing before the court on Monday December 5 , said Shonit Kumar Gain, OC of Galachipa Police Station.
Police and injured journalist sources said the attack took place in the area adjacent to the post office of the Galachipa municipal town around eight o’clock on Sunday night.
This left Sohag with bloody injuries on his left eye and left jaw. The terrorists took away his camera and laptop.
