Meeting on prevention of tuberculosis at Lalmonirhat

On the initiative of National Tuberculosis Prevention Association Lalmonirhat district branch, a discussion meeting was held on Tuesday in the meeting room of the general library. The meeting focuses on the role of women leadership in creating awareness in the prevention of tuberculosis.
The main speaker was Dr. Samira Hossain Chowdhury, resident medical officer of 250-bed Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital. Hero freedom fighter guerrilla leader SM Shafiqul Islam presided. Elected women member of Zilla Parishad Mehrun Nahar Meri, general library secretary Abdus Salam Bakul, Natab regional coordinator Kawshar Uddin Ahmed, assistant professor Tahmina Begum and others participated in the free discussion. 25 women leaders including elected women representatives, school college teachers, social workers, NGO representatives, women professionals participated in it.
