Pak High Commission in Dhaka holds Eid-e-Milad un Nabi

Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka arranged an event to mark Milad un Nabi (Sm) on Thursday with the theme “Tolerance and the Prophet’s Life.”
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the various aspects of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Sm) particularly his teaching regarding tolerance, mutual cooperation, compassion and social justice.
High Commissioner Imran Ahmed Siddiqui congratulated the audience on Milad un Nabi and said that the Prophet Muhammad (Sm) was the greatest blessing of Allah for mankind.
The message of the Prophet (Sm) encompassed all aspects of human existence. Our respect and affection for the Prophet Muhammad (Sm) demands that we follow his teachings faithfully, he added.
Special prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
On the sidelines of the event, the High Commission also arranged an exhibition of Arabic Calligraphy which, inter alia, included artworks by the Chief Calligrapher of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina al-Munawwarah.
The participants showed keen interest in the exquisite artworks on display.
