Education Officer dies

Upazila Assistant Primary Education Officer Shah Jamal died of a heart attack while in charge of examination at Bhuapur in Tangail. The incident took place at Moniruzzaman B.M College examination Center in Alloa Union of the Upazila on Thursday.
At that time he was in charge of the HSC Examination under the Technical Board. His village home is in Bashmail village of Mirzapur upazila of the district.
Confirming the incident Principal of Moniruzzaman B M College, Moniruzzaman said, during the examination, education officer Shah Jamal along with a doctor and teachers were inspecting exam related papers in the office room.
At that time, he suddenly felt and fainted. After that he was quickly taken to the Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Ishrat Jahan, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) said that he died due to heart failure while performing his duties in examination center. Officials and employees of all levels of Bhuapur upazila administration have expressed deep condolences and grief in this regard, UNO also added.
