Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddiue on Tuesday said that the Supreme Court is continuing its efforts to ensure the free use of information technology (IT) in the justice system of the future.
He further said, “Our goal is only one that is to ensure justice to the litigants in a short time and at a low cost. To that end, we all have to play a leading role in taking effective steps to make the judiciary an IT-based institution.”
He was speaking as the chief guest at an inauguration program of six court technologies initiated for the Supreme Court and the subordinate courts. The SC administration organized the program at the Supreme Court auditorium. The technologies are— mobile app for the Supreme Court’s website; digital copying section for the Appellate Division; The Appellate Division’s entrance control system; monitoring committee’s online reporting tools; monitoring tools for Children Courts and online publication of the subordinate courts order and Judgment.
