Poacher arrested along with venison

One poacher named Abdus Sattar alias Tayab Ali Sana (61) was arrested along with 21 kgs venison from Khardar area of Bagerhat district town by the DB police of Bagerhat on Monday at noon and after lodging a case with Bagerhat Model PS under Wild Life Preservation Act against him he was sent to the jail hajat through the court. Abdus Sattar alias Tayab Ali Sana is the son of one Monir Uddin Sana of village Eksara under Ashashuni Upazila in Satkhira district . It is learnt from the police that acting on secret information the members of DB police, Bagerhat raided Khardar area of the district town on Monday at noon, arrested the poacher and seized the venison (21mkgs) packed in a polythin bag from his possession.

Digital Innovation Fair inaugurated

The Digital Innovation Fair was inaugurated in Lalpur upazila of Natore district with the theme of ‘Innovative Joyollase Smart Bangladesh’ on Wednesday. The fair was inaugurated at the Upazila Parishad ground under the initiative of Lalpur Upazila Administration. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shamima Sultana presided over the inauguration ceremony.
