Bangladesh Women’s Under-15 Football team crushed Bhutan Women’s Under-15 Football team by nine goals to nil in their third match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur on Monday.
Sauravi Akanda put her team ahead in the 15th minute of the match.
Sauravi made it 2-0 in the 22nd minute by a right-footer.
After 10 minutes, Bhutan conceded a suicidal goal.
Sauravi fulfilled her hat-trick by a right-footer in the 45th minute of the play.
After the breather, Sauravi increased the tally into 5-0 after dodging past the Bhutan goalie just after the lemon-break.
Mitu made it 6-0 by a lob in the in the 55th minute of the clash.
Aysha Akter made it 7-0 in the 66th minute of the game.
In the 80th minute, Protima Munda’s header bounced back from the cross-piece and Ritu Akter made no mistake to put the ball into the net.
Sauravi sealed the fate of the match in the in 87th minute of the match.
Bangladesh made a formidable start in the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship thrashing Bhutan by eight goals to nil in their opening match November 1.
Bangladesh tasted a 1-0 defeat to Nepal in their second match at the same venue on November 5.
