5 human traffickers held in Teknaf

Police have detained five human traffickers from Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar.
At that time, a victim of 17-year-old Md Shahed, son of one Azizul Haque, was rescued from the traffickers who held him hostage.
The detainees have been identified as Belal Hossain, 20, son of one Hoson Ahmed; Abdur Rashid, 27; Abdur Rahman, 55, son of Amir Hamja; Jahangir Alam, 26, son of Kalu, and Jahangir, 19, son of Abdul Hakim.
They were detained from various parts of the upazila between 5 am to 8 am on Saturday (November 5), said Abdul Halim, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Teknaf Model police station.
