JnU students not recruited as teachers despite qualifications

Generally meritorious students of their institutions are given priority in the recruitment of university teachers. But in the Jagannath University (JnU) the opposite incident is seen as JnU’s students are deprived of the recruitment of teachers.
There are many students in Jagannath University who have been neglected in the faculty recruitment of their university even after getting the highest result in the department, even the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal. But they went to other universities and got appointed as a teacher. There are many such examples. 8.11 percent of the total 678 teachers of the university. Among these 11 departments there is not a single teacher who was a student of Jagannath University.
After the establishment of Jagannath University, 17 years passed and 18 years passed, but only 55 students of its campus were appointed as teachers during this one and a half years. It is very insignificant.
However, it can be seen that more students are teaching in various reputed public and private universities of the country. Most of the successful students of the department have not yet become teachers in their own universities.
In recent times, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Chittagong University, and even Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology have got a significant number of students appointed with the sign of success.
In the investigation, it is also known that many JnU students could not become teachers of their own university even with the highest results of the department along with fulfilling the CGPA conditions. But many students of other universities with lower CGPA than that have got jobs in their department.
In this way, many talented students of Jagannath University are being deprived day by day. As a result, their dreams are broken. A former student of the History of Islamic department, who did not want to be named said that, we were treated unfairly on our own campus during the appointment of teachers. Students of a particular institution are given more opportunities.
It is known that only 55 students have been appointed as teachers after passing out from their own university in 36 departments and two institutes of Jagannath University. Which is only
