BSS, Adelaide :
Leaving behind the memory and the controversy of the previous game, Bangladesh are keen to focus on their match against Pakistan as they want to make the occasion memorable with a victory, said pacer Taskin Ahmed.
The Tigers will take on Pakistan on Sunday at the Adelaide Oval and the match is going to be their last game in this T20 World Cup unless anything miracle happens.
“Our goal is to give our best and win the last game. We are not keen to thinking of what happened in the past and in fact we are not bothered about it,” Taskin said here on Friday after Bangladesh’s practice session at Karen Rolton Oval ground.
Mathematically Bangladesh are still in the semifinal race but a lot of ifs and buts are involved there to make it happen. Bangladesh firstly need to beat Pakistan with big margin and then hope India or South Africa to loss their matches at the hands of Zimbabwe and Netherlands respectively, also with big margin.
“There are lots of calculations involved if we want to make it semifinal. It is out of control. What we can control is to play well in the next match and that’s our target. We want to win the game against Pakistan,” Taskin added.
