NBR transfers 253 officials en masse

A total of 253 assistant revenue officers of Custom Excise and VAT Commissionerate have been transferred en masse to different districts to bring dynamism in the revenue sector, National Board of Revenue (NBR) said on Thursday.
In two separate letters signed by NBR Second Secretary Masud Rana said a total of 253 assistant revenue officers had been transferred to different offices in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Rangpur, Sylhet, Cumilla, Jashore and Benapole.
NBR sources said that the big chunk of transfers had been taken to bring dynamism in revenue sector across the country.
These officers have been requested to join the respective workplace within November 10, the letters read.
