IMF’s loan will make people life difficult- Left Democratic Alliance

Criticizing the taking of loan from International Monetary Fund (IMF) Left Democratic Wing said that it would make people life more difficult.
Alliance leader made the comments in a central directorate meeting on Thursday at capital’s Purana Palton’s Communist Party of Bangladesh’s (CPB) office.
The meeting was chaired by CPB’s Acting General Secretary Mihir Goash.
Alliance leaders said government’s corruption, looting and mismanagement are main causes of today’s Bangladesh all kind of sufferings. The government has stolen people’s money in the name of development projects.
Corruption loot money has been smuggled with government support. There is no initiative to bring that money back, the government has no initiative to arrest the culprits they said.
Speakers in the meeting also said that thousands of conditions are constantly being imposed on the people in the name of foreign loans. But the government never makes public the conditions while taking these loans. The terms of all foreign loans should be made public immediately.

In the meeting, it was decided to hold a protest-meeting and procession at Purana Paltan of the capital at 3 pm on November 8. People are invited to participate in the program.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BASD) Bajlur Rashid Firoz, General Secretary of Bangladesh Revolutionary Communist League Iqbal Kabir Zahid, Editorial Board member Abdus Sattar, Central Leader of BASD (Marxist) Rashed Shahriar, Executive President of Samajtantrik Andolan Abdul Ali and Central Leader Rubel Sikder addressed in meeting.
