Former Justice Manik’s car attacked

Retired Supreme Court Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik’s car was attacked by a gang of miscreants in the capital.
On Wednesday (November 2) afternoon, his car came into attack from a political procession on his way to Paltan area of the city. The people concerned said that when he was going in his car through Paltan area, Manik’s car was attacked and vandalized from a procession.
The government gunman accompanying him was also attacked at the time.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Motijheel Zone of DMP Enamul Haque Mithu confirmed the matter to the media saying that such an attack has been reported.
Former Justice Manik has been asked to go to the police station. If he goes, the details will be known.
