If Bangladesh win today’s match Bangladesh’s hope to reach the semi-final will alive, while if India win today’s match, India’s hope to enter in the semi-final will alive. India will take on Zimbabwe in their last Group-2 match on November 6. And it will be an easy task for India to beat Zimbabwe and will take place in the last four.
Captain of Bangladesh T20 Cricket team Shakib Al Hasan said, ” Our target is to perform well in this World Cup. We shall try to show up to the mark in batting, bowling and fielding. We want to show a better brand of cricket in our next two matches. If we win any of the next match it will be a stunning victory for us. India and Pakistan are better side than us. But if we can perform well, we can earn victories. In this World Cup, Ireland defeated England and Zimbabwe beat Pakistan. So, if we can play well we can beat our opponents.”
India have taken the top position in T20I list, according to the latest ICC Rankings.
Head Coach of India Cricket team Rahul Dravid said, ” We don’t underestimate Bangladesh team. We respect them. I think they are good side. They performed well in their previous matches. So, we don’t take them lightly. Ireland beat England. We also watched these kind of matches in this World Cup. I am afraid of rain. If the rain washes out the match, we have to slit points.”
Dravid said, ” The conditions of Australia make level-playing field. The grounds are also gigantic. In Indian sub-continent, the batters can score a sixer by a big shot. But here those shot will be catches. We can’t control the weather. So, everything is seems to me outstanding excepting the weather.”
