Service seekers freed from brokers in Narisngdi

 After a long time, the Narsingdi Regional Passport Office was freed from brokers through the wholehearted efforts of its Deputy Director (DD) A K M Abu Saeed.
By doing this, the common people here have been spared from the hassle of getting passport.
It is known that the activities of Narsingdi Regional Passport office started in 2009. The passport office had been functioning well for next tow years. People could easily get their passports. But after this, common people faced various ironies when they came to get their passports. Many innocent people suffered a lot especially in the clutches of brokers.
To get rid of this situation, the people of the law enforcement agencies tried hard but could not bring any benefit. The number of brokers was increasing day by day. Common people who came to apply for passports from different areas were actually tricked by brokers in front of the passport office and enticed to provide passports to them at a low price. They were not given their passports. Especially, many people who applied for their passports on an urgent basis had to spend more money than necessary to the brokers but did not get their passports on time. The brokers used to extort huge sums of money from the applicants by promising to provide emergency passports within 8/10 days. Later the brokers submitted the passport application by making regular (ordinary) bank drafts without making the urgent bank drafts.
When the applicants came to collect their passports after the expiry of the passport handover time, the brokers sent the applicants away on various pretexts. In a word, hundreds of people had to suffer constant irony in the clutches of brokers.
On July 18,2022, A K M Abu Saeed took over the responsibility of Narisngdi Regional Passport Office.
When the matter of broker came to his notice, he discussed it with the local administration and decided to rid the passport office of brokers. Later, many brokers were arrested and sent to jail with the full cooperation of the administration. Narsingdi Regional Passport Office is now completely broker free.
When the matter spread in the area, a sigh of relief returned to the minds of the common people and peole from all walks of life praised DD A K M Abu Saeed for this great work.
One October 25 last, this correspondent visited the Narsingdi Gegional Passport office and found that the picture here has completely changed. Narisngdi broker was found here. Talking to several people who came to bet their passports, it is known that in the past they had to suffer a lot in the hands of brokers when they came here to get their passports. It is not the same now.
Now the whole image of this office has changed. Radical Changer have come in the passport service. In this regard, DD A K M Abu Saeed of Narsingdi Regional Passport Office, he said, After I joined here, I saw that many ordinary people were being harassed by brokers. After receiving such a complaint, I discussed with the local administration and public representatives about how to suppress the matter. Later, the sincere cooperation of the local administration was extended to the brokers from here. At present the passport office is completely broker free I think. As long as I am here, I will try to free my office with the cooperation of all.
