Two more police officers sent on compulsory retirement

Two officers of the rank of Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police were sent to compulsory retirement on Monday.
The government has taken the decision according to Section 45 of Public Service Act, 2018.
The Public Security Division under the home ministry issued separate notifications signed Md Aminul Islam Khan, Senior Secretary, in this regard.
According to the notices, Additional DIG (Criminal Investigation Department) Md Alamgir Alam and Tourist Police’s Additional DIG Md Mahbub Hakim were sent on compulsory retirement.
As per the notification, the orders will be in effect immediately ‘in public interest’.Earlier, on October 18, three police officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police were sent on compulsory retirement.
They are Muhammad Shahidullah Chowdhury SP (TR) at Police Headquarters, Md Delwar Hossain Mia and Mirza Abdullahel Baki, Special Super (SS) in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
