One held with gold bars in Baraigram

 Police arrested a bus passenger named Abdul Halim (40) with approximately 30 piece of gold bars in Baraigram of Natore. He was arrested during a search on a passenger bus from Manikpur area of the upazila on Banpara-Hatikumrul Highway at around 5 am recently.
Abdul Halim is the son of Abdul Latif of Singair Char village of Singair Upazila of Manikganj. Many people think that the price of gold found with him will be around 21 lakh taka.
Abu Siddique, Officer-in-Charge of Baraigram Police Station, said that during the police search operation in Manikpur area, 30 piece of gold bars were found from Abdul Halim, a passenger of National Travels Paribahan, who was traveling from Dhaka to Rajshahi. A case has been registered in the police station in this regard and the arrested accused has been sent to jail on Monday.
