Ranga ousted from Jatiya Party

Jatiya Party MP Mashiur Rahman Ranga was eventually relieved from the party on Friday for siding with the party’s chief patron Raushan Ershad.
He was also relieved from the post of opposition chief whip and the party’s primary membership.
JP Chairman GM Quader on Friday took the decision exercising his special power bestowed upon him in the party’s charter.
According to section 20/1/Ka of JP charter, the JP chairman is empowered to make any decision unilaterally.
As per the power bestowed upon the party’s chairman, the JP boss can form, reconstitute, and scrap any committee at any level even if the action goes against the other parts of the JP charter.
