Ferdous, Purnima break silence, return to acting

National Film Award winning actors Ferdous Ahmed and Dilara Hanif Purnima on Monday started shooting of a movie directed by noted director Chhatku Ahmed, who also wrote story, dialogues and script of the movie. Both these two actors last worked together in movies titled ‘Jam’ and ‘Gungchil.’ Then they took a long time break from acting. After breaking the silence, Ferdous and Purnima started acting through Chhatku Ahmed’s movie titled ‘Ahare Jibon,’ which is a government granted movie.
Around 25 years, Chhatku Ahmed first took Ferdous in his movie titled ‘Buker Bhitor Agun’ where Salman Shah was acting. After sudden demise of late hero Salman Shah, Ferdous was replaced in his role in the movie. It was debut movie of Ferdous in the silver screen.
While talking about acting in the movie ‘Ahare Jibon,’ Ferdous told this correspondent, “Chhatku Bhai is my mentor in the movie. In fact, in the beginning of my acting career, I learned many things from him. During shooting, he told me to do acting by this way, which Salman Shah did. I gave importance to Chhatku Bhai’s all directions to learn acting properly during that time. It is true that after ‘Buker Bhitor Agun,’ I didn’t get the opportunity to work under Chhatku Bhai’s direction in any other movie. After 25 years, I am acting under his direction in movie ‘Ahare Jibon.’ I am really enjoying it. It is likeable matter that Suchorita Apa, Purnima, Shahnoor, Tushar Khan Bhai, among others, are also acting in various roles with me in this movie. It is absolutely a family drama based movie. I have liked its story. It is also a likeable to me that as my co-artiste, I got my close friend Purnima in the movie.”
Purnima shared her feelings by this way, “Basically I started shooting in this movie from Sunday. Chhatku Ahmed Bhai is a noted and veteran director. His full unit is working cordially. I am trying to portray my character in this movie properly. Shahidullah Dulal Bhai is working as cinematographer in this movie. I have many experiences working with him. Overall, ‘Ahare Jibon’ will become a good movie.”
Both Ferdous and Purnima informed that they will be engaged with shooting of this movie for next few days at a time. Meanwhile, recently Ferdous acted movie ‘Beauty Circus’ has been released. His acting got appreciation from the film-lovers in this movie.
