T20 WC warm-ups India edge Australia, South Africa thrash NZ

Australia was defeated by India by six runs in a warm-up match ahead of the Super 12 round of the Twenty20 World Cup on Monday, while South Africa defeated New Zealand by nine wickets.

In Brisbane, India batted first and scored 186/7 in 20 overs, with opener KL Rahul (57) and Suryakumar Yadav (50) both scoring half century.
Kane Richardson of Australia shone with the ball, taking four wickets. In response, Australia were all out for 180 in 20 overs, with skipper Aaron Finch leading the way with 76.
Mohammad Shami of India, who replaced the injured Jasprit Bumrah, got three wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two.
New Zealand v South Africa
The Kiwis struggled in Brisbane, where they were dismissed for 98 in 17.1 overs after being requested to take first guard.
Only three New Zealand hitters reached double figures: Martin Guptill (26), Glenn Phillips (20), and Michael Bracewell (11).
Keshav Maharaj of South Africa took three wickets, while Wayne Parnell and Tabraiz Shamsi each took two.
The Proteas romped home in 11.2 overs in pursuit of the short total of 99, with unbeaten opening batter Rilee Rossouw hitting the highest 54.
