Two brothers held in violation case

Two brothers in connection with a rape case after abduction an eighth grade minor girl in Bhuapur upazila of Tangail were arrested by police recently. At that time police have rescued the victim school girl from Nalua village of Alloa Union of the upazila.
The arrested rapists are Miraj (18), son of Hasmat Ali of Polisha village of Bhuapur municipality area and eighth grade student of Tepibari High School and his elder brother Suman (22).
Victim’s mother said that being classmate Miraj used to be teased her daughter for several months. At one point, after falling into a love trap she was kidnapped from the street with the help of Miraj’s family members. In this connection, recently the schoolgirl’s mother filed a kidnapping case in the name of four people at Bhuapur Police Station .
Victim school girl said that while studying in same school, Miraj used to propose me several times. With the help of his family members he kidnapped her and then first they have taken her to their relative’s house in Tongi, later in Savar. There they forced me to marry Miraj and when we returned Bhuapur, police caught Miraj on the basis of my mother’s written complaint in police station.
Victim’s mother also said that they kidnapped my minor girl. After filing a case in the police station, the police arrested the abductor Miraj and his brother and rescued my daughter. We demand strict punishment for the accused for such heinous deed.
Confirming the incident, Farid Ahmed, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Bhuapur police station and investigating officer of the case, said that after filing a rape case after abduction at the police station, police conducted a rapid drive at various places since the kidnappers stay at different places at different times. Late the girl was rescued and two brothers were arrested. The operation to arrest the remaining accused is continuing.
Muhammad Faridul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhuapur Police Station said, besides rescuing the girls, we arrested accused two brothers. The schoolgirl has been sent to Tangail General Hospital for physical examination. After the physical examination, the girl will be taken to Court for statement following section 22. Meanwhile, the arrested two brothers were sent to jail court.
