Parlour woman gang raped in Dhaka

A beautician woman was gang raped by three unidentified youths in an apartment at Sukrabad of Dhanmondi in the capital on Tuesday night as she was called there for beautifying a girl.
Later, the25-year-old victim woman was admitted to the One Stop Crisis Center (OCC) of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

The brother of the gang-rape victim told the media that, “My sister has an online page.” She goes home and works as a beautician. On Tuesday afternoon a call came to her number from another girl number. She was asked to beautify a girl at Dhanmondi.
On request, my sister went to Dhanmondi road no. 28 by ride sharing bike. The woman on the
other end of the phone told my sister that she had sent her younger brother to receive her. Later that young man took my sister to a house at 28 Dhanmondi. After reaching there another woman locked the door and took her mobile phone forcefully. After a while three boys came to that house. Then the three youths raped her.
Utpal Baruya, Officer- in-Charge (OC) of Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Police station confirmed the matter to the New Nation saying that the victim was admitted in a hospital there and later shifted to OCC of DMCH.
Our attempt is on to arrest the culprits, OC added.
