Chairman of Jaifarnagar Union Parishad Masum Reza took the initiative to arrange the chess meet. Moulvibazar Chess Players’ Association arranged the chess tournament. Joint-Secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation Masudur Rahman Mallick, Vice-Chairman (Woman) of Juri Upazila Parishad Ranjita Sharma, Officer-in-Charge of Juri Police Station Sanjay Chakrabarty were present in the prize-giving ceremony. The winners of the chess tournament got handsome cash money as award.
