GM Quader’s stolen cellphone recovered

Police have recovered the stolen mobile phone set of Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the opposition in Parliament GM Quader.
The Airport police recovered the cell phone on Wednesday morning.
They also arrested the mugger and his five accomplices in this connection.
The cell phone worth Tk 1.5 lakh was sold at Tk 18,000 only by the muggers, police said.
The Airport police officer-in-charge Aslam Uddin said GM Quader’s stolen mobile phone was recovered. The mugger who had stolen the mobile phone was identified as Azizul.
After stealing, Azizul handed over the mobile phone to another mugger.
Besides, five accomplices of Azizul were arrested. They are Subal Chandra Ghosh, Sanaullah and Ismail, among others.
GM Quader’s cell phone was stolen from airport area in the capital on August 31 last.
