‘Clean and safe campus’ campaign at RU, BAU

Rajshahi University (RU) unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), launched cleanliness drive on Tuesday titled ‘Clean campus and safe campus’ on the campus as a part of the countrywide seven days campaign, organized by central BCL on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) BCL unit also launched the same program.
BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Rafiqul Haque inaugurated the programme as chief guest while President of BAU unit BCL Mursheduzzaman Khan Babu presided over the function.
Later, BCL activists of BAU unit along with BAU VC, registrar Md Abdul Khaleque student’s affairs advisor Prof Dr Zahirul Haque Khandoker, proctor Prof Dr Md Harun Ur Rashid and other senior teachers and officials cleaned different important spots on the campus and placed trash boxes on those spots.
In the programme BAU VC advised the students to practice good and constructive politics.
In Rajshahi University: Khairuzzaman Liton, president of Rajshahi City Awami League inaugurated the campaign around at the university Sabash Bangladesh Chattar.
BCL RU unit president Mizanur Rahman Rana, acting general secretary khalid Hossain Biplob, organizing president Faisal Ahmed Runu, joint secretary Golam Kibria were present at inaugural programme, among others.
Over 150 leaders and activists splitting in different group took part in the campaign while they cleaned different important spots on the campus and placed trash boxes on those spots.
