Ctg Abahani draw with Uttar Baridhara in BPL Football

Chittagong Abahani Limited played a 2-2 goals draw with Uttar Baridhara Club in their match of the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Wednesday.
Chittagong Abahani Limited took the seventh position in the points table collecting 27 points from 20 matches, while Uttar Baridhara Club took the 10th position earning 14 points from as many outings.
Chittagong Abahani Limited had a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Shakhawat Hossain Rony of Chittagong Abahani Limited put his team ahead in the 10th minute of the first half.
Arifur Rahman of Chittagong Abahani Limited doubled the margin in the 37th minute of the play.
After the breather, Uttar Baridhara Club’s Uzbek recruit Saiddoston Fozilov reduced the margin in the 50th minute of the game.
Arif Hossain of Uttar Baridhara Club equalized the margin in the 78th minute of the match.
Today Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra will face Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj, while Bangladesh Police Football Club will take on Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited at Bashundhara Sports Complex in Dhaka and Rahmatganj MFS will meet Swadhinata Krira Sangha at the Muktijoddho Sriti Stadium in Rajshahi. All the matches will kick-off at 4.00pm.
