Walton DC Cup Football Tournament, Satkhira: Auspicious start for Kaliganj Upazila team

Kaliganj Upazila team made an auspicious start in the Walton DC Cup Football Tournament, Satkhira when they beat Kolarowa Upazila team by a solitary goal in the opening match at the Satkhira Stadium on Monday.
 After a barren first half striker of Bangladesh National Football team Emily scored the all important goal for Kaliganj in the 71st minute of the play.
Divisional Commissioner of Khulna division Md Abdus Samad inaugurated the football meet as the chief guest while Police Super of Satkhira district Monjurul Kabir, First Senior Assistant Director of Walton Md Shafiullah Liton were with him as the special guest.
DC of Satkhira district Nazmul Ahsan presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Additional DC of Satkhira and Chairman of the Tournament Committee Md Mohsin Ali, and President of Satkhira District Football Association Engineer Sirajul Islam were present, among others.
Today Debhata Upazila team will face Satkhira Sadar Upazila team at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
