PRAN-DRU Independence Day Badminton begins today

The PRAN-DRU Independence Day Badminton Tournament begins today on the premises of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU).
Marking the upcoming tournament, a press conference was held at Nasrul Hamid Auditorium in DRU on Thursday.
President of DRU Nazrul Islam Mithu, General Secretary of DRU Nurul Islam Hasib, Sports Secretary of DRU Maksuda Lisa, Head of Marketing of PRAN Confectionary Limited Shakhawat Ahmed, Brand Manager of PRAN Confectionary Shamim Sarker were present at the conference.
A total of 96 participants including 15 female shuttlers will take part in the five-day long badminton meet. The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Taka two lakh and sponsor of the badminton competition PRAN-RFL Group will bear the total expenditure of the tournament. The badminton tournament will come to an end on March 15.
