Fire balloon destroys a plastic factory in city

Syed Shemul Parvez :
There is a common Proverb “Someone’s prosperity is another’s adversity. This proverb came true on the last Thirty First Night.
At 12:01 pm, when all the residents of the capital were celebrating the colorful festival, the dreams of some people were burnt in the firework.
One of them is Jannatul Ferdous from city’s Matuail.
According to sources, Jannatul had just started a plastic basket business recently. But she might not have thought that just a fire balloon would smash her dream.
Victim Jannatul said she started the plastic business two or three months ago with a loan. But a thirty first balloon burned all the goods worth taka seven lakh.
I don’t know what to do now. Allah knows best what will happen now. She said that the goods were also sold, even the buyer would take the goods within two-three days but before the delivery all the assets were burnt.
Jannatul’s brother says that when a fire balloon flies and falls on the tarpaulin, it catches fire and burns everything. My sister-in-law is still in debt of taka 5 lakh. I do not know how to re-pay this loan? We would survive if the government or someone cooperates with us, he said.
Meanwhile, law enforcers repeatedly banned city dwellers from releasing fire balloon in the sky on thirty first night. But no one has complied with those directions.
In this regard, Police said, there is no law in this matter to take action.
As such, what will happen this year on the same day?, Said a conscious inhabitant of the capital.
