2 teens abducted, gang raped in city

Two teenagers have been allegedly raped after abduction from the capital’s Mirpur Paikpara area. The victims are 12 and 14 years old.
DB Mirpur Zone rescued the two abducted girls. On Tuesday morning, they were admitted to the One Stop Crisis Center (OCC) of Dhaka Medical College & Hospital (DMCH) for a physical examination.
According to locals, two teenage girls left the house at around 10 pm on the 29th September last month.
Later, Arman, Sabbir, Al-Amin and Nurullah, who were previously known, forcibly took them away.
Victims were later kept in a house and gang raped.
DB police rescued them on Monday. DB Mirpur Zone Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamal Pasha said two teenagers went missing from Mirpur-1 on September 29. They were later rescued on Monday.
Bachchu Mia, in-charge (inspector) of the police camp at DMCH, told the New Nation that two girls, who were raped in the Mirpur area, were admitted to the OCC by DB police.
