Train ticket sale begins
Train ticket sales started at 8.00 am on Monday. Kamalapur Station Manager Masud Sarwar said half of the tickets are being sold at ticket counters while the rest online.
The train services across the country will resume from Wednesday (August 11) with full capacity of passengers. The government has decided to resume public transport from Wednesday and issued a notification in this regard.
Passenger trains have been shut down since July 23 due to the deteriorating situation of the COVID outbreak. With the re-launch of selling train tickets, passengers are relieved to hear that the train has resumed after being closed for more than two weeks.
