Chanchal to work in Anjan Dutt’s new web series

National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury will be seen in a new web series directed by noted Indian director Anjan Dutt.
While talking with this correspondent about the matter Chanchal said, “Anjan Dutt is a noted director, actor and singer of India. We have talked about the new web series several times. Even last Thursday we discussed the matter. I’m very keen to act under his direction. If everything goes well, the shooting of the unnamed web series will begin in October. I’m also looking forward to acting in a few OTT productions in the next few months.”
Chanchal will resume shooting before or after August 15 through Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s web series Munsigiri. The shooting of web series has almost been done. After that, he will start shooting for another web series directed by Shankha Das Gupta. Chanchal’s dramas O Pakhi Tor Jontrona, Porgachha, Fakir Mojnu, Rimur Chithi, Mughal Family and others were aired during last Eid-ul-Azha.
Chanchal also said that he has also completed shootings for two movies – Giasuddin Selim-directed Paap Punnyo and Mezbaur Rahman’s Hawa. These two movies will be released after the improvement of the ongoing corona pandemic.
Chanchal Chowdhury is a popular film, television and theatre actor of the country. He started his career in 1996 as a theater artiste. He joined famous theater troupes like Aranyak Natyadal and performed in stage plays like Prakritojoner Kotha, Joyjoyonti, Ora Kodom Ali, Moyur Singhason, Songkranti, Rarang and Che-er Cycle. Chanchal has worked in many popular TV dramas and serials. His notable dramas are Bhober Haat, Sakin Sarisuri, Talpatar Sepai, Ghor Kutum, Bideshi Para and others. He also appeared in movies. He received two times National Film Awards in category of Best Actor.
