UCB approves 10 pc dividend: United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) approved 5 percent stock and 5 percent cash dividend for the year ended 31 December 2020. The decision came out through its 38th Annual General Meeting held recently through virtually. The meeting was presided by Rukhmila Zaman, Chairman of the bank, said a press release. Among others Vice-Chairman Bazal Ahmed, Executive Committee Chairman Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman Akhter Matin Chaudhury, Risk Management Committee Chairman M. A. Sabur, Directors Yunus Ahmed, Nurul Islam Chowdhury, Asifuzzaman Chowdhury, Roxana Zaman, Bashir Ahmed, Afroza Zaman, Syed Kamruzzaman, Muhammed Shah Alam, Professor Dr. Md. Jonaid Shafiq, Kanak Kanti Sen, Independent Directors Dr. Aparup Chowdhury, Touhid Shipar Rafiquzzaman, Managing Director Mohammed Shawkat Jamil and Chief Financial Officer of the bank Faruk Ahammad were also present at the AGM.
