HASAB Jubo Mela held

Chittagong Bureau :Under the auspicious of HASAB, a non-govt development organization patronized by the foreign donor OXFAM , Jubo Mela-2014 of SRHR project was held at the premises of Shilpkala Academy in Chittagong recently.Administrator of Chittagong zila parishad Abdus Salam graced the occasion as chief guest while the panel mayor Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud Hasni was the special guest in it. The chief executive officers and the senior officials of the implementing organizations were present in it. Team leader Mahfuzul Bari addressed the presence about the aims and objects of the project activities and presented a keynote paper explaining the present contexts of Bangladesh and directives of the work plan and future goal. The participants mentioned the past long relations with the HASAB and urged to continue the same cooperation in future also. Mentionable that with the pear education programs with the HASAB partners will be launched in city corporation area, Patiya and Sandwip which will increase the awareness about the sex and breeding health matters of juveniles . In the fair, beneficiaries of male, female juveniles presented their experiences in the discussions .Special guest Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud Hasni addressed in his address said HASAB’s ongoing activities are undoubtedly bravery and epoch making . He also committed to extend his participation in the HASAB programs aimed at building the better future life of the juveniles.The chief guest said the knowledge of juveniles health and sex will help to facilitate the forming of healthy nation and role of Hasab hailed. He called to spread the HASAB programmes in remote community areas. The President of the youth mela Dr. Amjad Ali said, adolescent period is the precondition of building healthy, skilled and hardworking nation. He called for extending all sorts of cooperation to HASAB by the govt, non-govt organsations to fulfill their goals. After end of the meet, the guests, participants go round the different stalls of the jubomela and expressed satisfaction over it. Coordinator Mr. Jui Sams presented the programs of the function. Programme Officer Mostafa AL Mamun expressed hope for better results in the coming work plans and on its implementations of the ongoing project. The team members of the project presented a cultural programmes in the same venue after end of the discussion meet, a release said.
