BD Emerging Women’s win one-day series 3-0

Bangladesh Emerging Women’s Cricket team won the one-day series 3-0 defeating South Africa Emerging Women’s Cricket by six wickets in their third match at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
Bangladesh Emerging Women’s team have clinched the one-day series remaining two matches. Batting first South Africa Emerging Women’s team scored 92 runs off 33.3 overs.
In reply, Bangladesh Emerging Women’s team romped home making 93 for the loss of four wickets when they had 22 overs to spare.
Opener Murshida Khatun made a polished 46. She struck seven fours in her 71-ball innings. Shamima Sultana, the other opener was out for just five runs.
Murshida Khatun and Fargana Haque contributed 42 runs for the third wicket partnership.
Fargana Haque hit 16 runs, while Nigar Sultana scored 13 runs.
Later, Lata Mandol and Rumana Ahmed guided their team to reach the victory target making unbeaten six and unbeaten two runs respectively.
Earlier, batters of South African Emerging Women’s team failed to resist the superb bowling attack of the bowlers of Bangladesh Emerging Women’s team.
Ritu Moni, Nahida Akter and Rabeya Khan grabbed three wickets each.
Aneke Bose of South Africa Emerging Women’s team restored some parity for her side making a respectable 30 runs.
