Jamal Bhuiyan signs agreement with Saif SC

Star footballer Jamal Bhuiyan signed an agreement with Saif Sporting Club (SC) in the city on Saturday to play in the next year’s Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Jamal will also play rest of the matches of the BPL this season for Saif Sporting Club. Jamal will get Tk 66 lakh to play for Saif Sporting Club in next year.
Earlier, Jamal Bhuiyan played for Kolkata Mohammedan Sporting Club in the I-League this year. He returned to Dhaka from Kolkata on Friday last.
Jamal signed the agreement with the Managing Director of Saif Sporting Club Nasiruddin Chowdhury on Saturday.
After signing the agreement, Nasiruddin Chowdhury said, ” Jamal Bhuiyan always played for us. He played for Kolkata Mohammedan this year for some matches after getting the permission of us. We have signed an agreement with Jamal Bhuiyan today. He will play for Saif Sporting Club next year for Tk 66 lakh. If any club want to sign him for loan we shall consider the matter.”
He said, ” We hope after finishing his career, he will be a coach like former French footballer Zinedine Zidane.”
It may be mentioned that Jamal Bhuiyan will leave the city tomorrow for Nepal to play for Bangladesh Football team in the Tri Nations Cup at Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. The other teams of the football tournament are: Hosts Nepal and Kyrgyzstan Under-23 Football team.
