Teen gang-raped by tik-tok friends in city

A 13-year-old girl who came to the capital city from Tongi, with the desire of acting on a tik-tok video, has been reportedly gang raped by her others tik-tok friends.
Tongi East police, however, have arrested two teenage boys on charge of deflowering the girl.
Delowar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tongi East Police Station, confirmed the news to the New Nation and said that two teenagers out of four accused were arrested on Saturday.
They would be sent to court, said the police.
The victim girl was admitted to One-stop Crisis Centre (OCC) of Dhaka Medical College &

Hospital (DMCH) for treatment, OC added.
The arrested juveniles were identified as Shishir Bepari, 18, son of one Mofazzal Bepari from city’s Gandaria area and Junaid Islam Fahim, 17, son of one Anwar Hossain, a resident of the same area.
Local and relative sources said that the victim was a seventh grader at a local school in Dattapara area of Tongi. She used to make tit-tok videos. The teen girl got huge acquainted and familiar with some other teenagers who make tik tok video in different districts of the country on social media platform like Facebook.
On the afternoon of December 23, some teen boys took the victim from Tongi to the Gandaria area of capital city to work on the tik tok video with the identity of a Facebook celebrity.
She was later gang-raped by a group of teenagers at a house. The next day, her mother lodged a GD with the Tongi East Police Station after finding no trace of the girl (victim).
After the GD, the police started raids in different areas. Later, using modern technology, the police rescued him from Madhubagh area of Hatirjheel in Dhaka on Friday evening.
According to her statement, the two accused teenagers were arrested from Narinder Saratchandra Road, Gandaria.
The General Diary (GD) was later taken up in the form of a case on Saturday (December 26) and the detainees were shown arrested.
