3 nabbed for killing child after abduction

After abducting a fourth class student named Shamanun, 11 abductors killed her from Dhaka’s Mirpur. The child was abducted two days ago.
On Saturday morning, police recovered the child’s body from Mirpur-10 Shah Ali Plaza’s 15 storey staircase, wired around his neck.
Police arrested three kidnappers in connection with the incident on Saturday.
Mirpur Model Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Syed Akhter Hossain confirmed the matter to the New Nation.
He said the deceased child lived with his mother and stepfather Yunus Ali in Mirpur Section-6 area. The family members lodged a General Diary with the police station on December 16 over his missing.
Then Police and the Ditective Branch of Police, started the investigation together. At one point we arrested three kidnappers.
He said the child was strangled to death. After the abduction and demanded a ransom from the family, the kidnappers killed him shortly. The body has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
