Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik gets bail in drug case
Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty who was detained by the NCB in the drug probe finally gets bail after three months. Showik was arrested on September 4, after being questioned by NCB in the drug case.
He approached the court for bail in the first week of November. In October, Rhea and Showik, both applied for bail from Mumbai’s special court but only Rhea’s plea was heard and she got bail in the same month.
Now after two months after her sister was released, Showik finally gets bail. NCB has alleged that the brother-sister duo had bought drugs, not for their own use but to supply them to Sushant Singh Rajput, which is ‘a more serious offense’ related to the funding of drugs.
The anti-drug agency is also called Rhea Chakraborty, an active member of a drugs syndicate.
