Sreelekha on being ousted from Mirakkel
The news of Sreelekha Mitra no longer being a part of popular comedy show Mirakkel’s upcoming season has left the audience surprised. When ETimes TV contacted, the actress wasn’t initially ready to discuss the topic. The conversation rather started with the exchange of pleasantries. The actress, who loves being experimental when it comes to acting, said, “Is it important to answer how am I!”

I don’t want to discuss the topic any more. The more we discuss the topic the more I would feel the pain. I just want to detach myself from everything,” she added after taking a pause. Seasoned actress Sreelekha has been a part of the panel of judges in Mirakkel, hosted by actor-RJ-host Mir Afsal Ali for many years. Her eloquence, charm and wittiness in the show have always mesmerised the
audience. As the conversation went ahead, Sreelekha slowly opened up and added, “I have always kept my head high. I have never compromised with anything and will never do it in the future too,” she shared.
The actress recently opened up on nepotism and favoritism issues in Bengali entertainment industry. She had posted a video on her YouTube channel on the same too.
It sparked controversy after she took a few big names. She further added: “I have always been vocal throughout my career. I don’t expect anything from the industry. I know people are selfish. Many people get project just by oiling. I never oiled anyone.” But Sreelekha insisted, that she isn’t sad. The incident of being replaced has caused her deep pain.
