Runa Laila’s song in Haimanti’s voice

Hailed from Chattogram, Haimanti Rakshit Das is a popular singer of present generation. Runa Laila is her inspiration in music. She has many days’ plan to render songs of Runa Laila in front of her. Once she got the opportunity. Two years ago, in an award giving ceremony, Haimanti rendered Runa’s song titled Shesh korona shurute khela na bhengona. During that time Runa impressed with Haimanti’s rendering style.
But Haimanti had many days’ dream was to render a play-back song of Runa Laila and then to upload it on her YouTube channel, HAIMANTI. She has released the song on her channel. She rendered the song Dushmoni korona priyotomo, which was used in lip of Bobita in film Durdesh, a joint venture production of Bangladesh-Canada and jointly directed by Ehtesham and Ambrish Sangal.
Tinku Aziz has re-arranged music of the song which lyric was written by Ahmad Zaman Chowdhury and tune was composed by Usha Khanna. The song has been released and music-lovers are enjoying it.
Haimanti said, “Runa Laila Madam is respected to me. She is my favourite singer. She is the icon of our music arena. She is my inspiration in music. During childhood I was fan of her personality. It was a great luck for me to render her song in front of her. This play-back song is very popular to all. If she likes my rendering style my effort will become successful.”
