BFF to get US $ 1mn from FIFA

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will get US $ 1mn from FIFA’s Covid-19 Aid Fund. The world football is a victim of coronavirus pandemic. FIFA has formed Covid-19 Aid Fund to help the member countries of FIFA. Every member country of FIFA will get US $ 1mn from the Covid-19 Aid Fund.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Md Abu Nayeem Shohag said, ” FIFA has taken a decision to give assistance to the member countries of FIFA. FIFA will give US $ 1mn to BFF from FIFA Covid-19 Aid Fund.”
Shohag said, ” FIFA will give US $ 0.5mn to BFF in July. Then rest of the US $ 0.5mn will give to BFF in next year’s January.”
He said, ” FIFA may give US $ 0.5mn to BFF for the development of women’s football in Bangladesh. But it depends on some conditions. If BFF can fulfill FIFA’s condition, FIFA will come forward to help BFF for the betterment of women’s football of Bangladesh. However, it is confirm that BFF will get US $ 1mn from FIFA.”
