Dithi Anwar returns to her own pathway

Dithi Anwar is the daughter of noted lyricist, film director-producer, distributor, storywriter and presenter Gazi Mazharul Anwar. Dithi is not only rendering song well but also hosting different TV shows successfully for last few years. During the time of lockdown due to coronavirus Dithi courageously took part in live musical show with Yousuf Ahmed Khan on Asian TV. She also hosted a special show in same channel.
Therefore, recently as a host, Dithi also finished recording of RTV’s musical show Ei Raat Tomar Aamar at Bengal Studio in the capital’s Tejgaon area.
Wife of Army Chief, Dilshad Nahar Kakoli and Yousuf Ahmed Khan performed in the programme. Kakoli rendered songs Ei sundor Swarnali sondhai and Jar chhaya porechhe and Yousuf rendered songs Bhabi jeno lajuk lota, Chokh je moner kotha boley and Surer Bhuboney in the show which will be aired on RTV soon, Dithi said.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of hundred birth anniversary of Hemonto Mukherjee on June 18, Dithi hosted a special episode of Music Station on RTV produced by Shibly Zia.
She also rendered song of Hemonto in the programme besides invited singers Badshah Bulbul and Mowtushi Partha.
While talking about taking risk to take part in TV shows during coronavirus Dithi Anwar told this correspondent, “From childhood my parents brought up me as I can face any situation in my life. Many persons are feared of corona and many others overcame it. However, during taking part in TV shows I tried to maintain hygiene and social distance properly.”
